Steve Rouman joined Open Realty Advisors in 2017 and is primarily responsible for the execution of RH’s Gallery real estate transformation plan and leading the national store expansion strategy for one of Open Realty’s newest clients, Devialet. Immediately prior to joining Open Realty, Steve was Senior Director Real Estate, Americas for Apple, where he led the team responsible for all store related real estate activity in both North and South America. Steve began his career in Chicago on the landlord side of the business having spent nearly 16 years with Urban Retail Properties and the Westfield Corporation. In more recent years, Steve has held senior-level executive real estate roles with some of the largest retail brands in the world, including Vice President, Global Real Estate & Construction for Levi Strauss & Co., where he oversaw 2,700 company owned and franchised stores in more than 110 countries, and Vice President Real Estate North America and Europe for Gap Inc., where he was responsible for approximately 3,000 stores totaling over 34 million square feet. Additionally, Steve is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) currently serving on the NY ICSC Planning Committee, the OAC Planning Committee, and as a former State Retail Chair for Northern California. Steve resides in suburban San Francisco with his wife and four children.
Steve received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Michigan.
